After an autopsy was conducted on the body of a Rock Island man shot in Davenport, his death was declared a homicide.
Police said Zachary Thompson, 30, of Rock Island, Illinois was taken by private vehicle to an area hospital after he was shot at a house in the 200 block of East 14th Street Monday evening, July 1, 2013.
Thompson later died of his injuries.
An autopsy was conducted on Thompson in Iowa city, and that resulted in his death being listed as a homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Davenport Police.
