Two people died after a shooting that Muscatine Police are investigating as a possible murder-suicide.

Police were sent to a home in the 800 block of Oak Street at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 after someone called and reported a disturbance there.  When officers arrived, they reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from the residence.

Teresa Rowan, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Lance Stormm, 39, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital and later airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital where he later died.  Police said Stormm had suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

“At this time this incident is being treated as a possible murder/suicide,” said a statement from Lt. Jeff Kirak of the Muscatine Police Department.
