Moline and East Moline offer storm cleanup help

City officials in East Moline and Moline, Illinois say crews will pick up branches and debris from trees damaged in storms that happened Monday, June 24, 2013.

East Moline residents should put tree branches, no longer than 6 feet in length, at the curb for pickup.  If you have larger branches or tree trunks, call East Moline Maintenance Services at (309) 752-1573 to schedule a pick up.

Residents with damaged electrical service lines must obtain a free electrical building permit from the city, and have the service inspected prior to power being restored.  For answers to your questions about electrical service and permits in East Moline call (309) 752-1509.

Moline Public Works crews will provide free tree and branch removal to all residential properties in the city.  All trees and branches must be cut into pieces no longer than seven feet in length and they must be placed along, but not on, the curb/pavement in front of your residence.  City crews will not go onto private property to remove or cut up trees and branches.   For more information about storm debris pick up in Moline, call (309) 524-2407.
