Heavy rain was part of two rounds of storms that hit the Quad Cities and surrounding areas Monday, June 24, 2013.
Morning storms brought between one and four inches of rainfall, with locally heavier rains north and west of the Quad Cities. Lowden, Iowa reported more than six inches of rain fell in just a few hours.
Storms reignited in the afternoon hours, and brought heavy rain and high winds along with several tornado warnings.
