Davenport was in the path of Monday's storms that brought damaging winds and torrential rainfall to the Quad Cities area.
More than 3.5 inches of rain was reported in Scott County with storms Monday, June 24, 2013.
Strong winds also damaged trees and power lines in Davenport, with nearly 6,000 MidAmerican Energy customers reporting power out at the height of the storms between 3 and 4 p.m.
