Storms that moved through the area possibly contributed to a house fire in Rock Island, Illinois.

The fire was reported around 4 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 at a home in the 1500 block of 37th Street.

Authorities said a tree fell on wires as strong storms blew through the area.  The live wires and tree then fell on the house, starting a fire.

The fire appeared to be confined to the second story of the home.

No injuries were reported.
