Road Work will affect traffic in Rock Island.
Beginning Friday, June 21, 2013 crews will be working on cleaning and filling cracks and joints on 17th Street between 18th Ave. and 25th Ave, according to the City of Rock Island.
A flagger will be on site to direct traffic as crews work in the area. The project is expected to be complete on Friday, June 28.
The work is part of the Crack and Joint Sealing Program. After work is completed in the area, a street sweeper will be used to clean debris left over.
