One person is injured after the barge of the Bobby Jones Tugboat collided with the Crescent Bridge.

It happened at about 10 p.m. Monday. Nothing is left from either the barge or the tug boat at the scene. Crews removed everything from the river Monday night.

The Bobby Jones Tugboat and Barge collided with the draw span of the bridge. The barge stopped near the bridge after the accident happened.

The barge was traveling downstream when it collided Monday. We've also learned that the barge is owned by the Southern Towing Company out of Memphis, Tennessee.

No word on where the barge is now. Workers for the company have not commented on what they were taking down the river. They've also not said how their injured person is doing.
