Families enjoyed a cookout at the ballpark on Father’s Day.
The celebration on Sunday, June 16, 2013 allowed dads to celebrate on the field at Modern Woodmen Park before the River Bandits game.
Kids and their fathers got to play catch, enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet on the Sky Deck, and all day prizes were being given away.
“It’s a nice place to come,” said Mario Maldonado, from Muscatine. “Good place to bring your children. It’s a family oriented place.”
This was the second annual Father’s Day Cookout.
