A cab driver may have thwarted the advances of a man who tried to attack her in her car.

The man was reportedly in the back seat of the cab when he allegedly made sexual advances and began touching a woman as she drove a cab early Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013.

The more the woman refused the advances, the more aggressive the man allegedly became.

Police said the woman then told the man she would agree to his requests but that she first needed to stop at a gas station to freshen up.  When she went into the gas station, she called police.

Police said when they arrived at the gas station in the 500 block of North Henderson, they found 22-year-old Dejuan Irons with his pants down, sitting in the back seat of the cab.

Irons was arrested and charged with public indecency and sexual abuse.
