CHICAGO — A Blackhawks fan has a temporary, but painful souvenir from Wednesday’s triple overtime game one of the Stanley Cup Final.
Dr. Patricia Higgins of Burr Ridge got a puck to the face just before the end of regulation.
The deflected puck flew over the glass and opened a one and-a-half inch gash across the bridge of her nose and right eyebrow.
It missed her eyes, and she is expected to be OK.
