Residents encouraged to apply for assistance after East Moline flooding

Residents in East Moline with property damages from recent flooding are encouraged to register for assistance with FEMA representatives.

Residents in East Moline with property damages from recent flooding are encouraged to register for assistance with Federal Emergency Management Agency representatives.

Those who endured property damage from April 16 – May 5 can apply for assistance at the East Moline Fire Department on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4 and 5 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.

According to the East Moline Fire Department, even if you have homeowners insurance you may still be eligible for financial assistance.

If you are unable to apply in person, you can still apply by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). You can apply online or on your Smartphone at m.fema.gov, or TTY 1-800-462-7585.
