Robb and Jennifer Ewoldt hold their annual Farm Open House this Saturday as a part of the Scott County Farm Bureau.

Residents will learn what it’s like to raise farm animals like buffalo, hogs, and dairy cows. Visitors will be able to see new farm equipment displays too.

The open house takes you on a tour from farm to farm. It starts at the Ewoldt farm at 10386 Chapel Hill Road outside of Davenport, but it carries on to the Kris-Del Dairy Farm, the Lahl Hog farm, and the Bison Ridge farm.

Volunteers will be on hand at each farm to answer any questions you may have. The open house is designed to get more people involved in agriculture.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks Saturday. The event starts at 10 a.m.

If the weather cooperates, the volunteers will also show visitors livestock Saturday. To see more about the farm bureau, click here.
