Six people from the Princeton, Illinois area are accused of spending the past two years manufacturing more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.

A statement from the office of U.S. Attorney James Lewis said the suspects were indicted by a grand jury the week of May 20, 2013.  The six suspects are all from Princeton, Illinois or the nearby rural area.

Prosecutors said the suspects worked with others in a conspiracy to manufacture more than 500 grams of methamphetamine between April 2011 and now.

Five of the suspects were held in the Bureau County Jail after they were arrested May 28, 2013.  They are Shane Walters, 27; Nicholas Hand, 29; Kyle Dye, 23; Nikole Walters, 26 and Max Moritz, 32.  They were scheduled to appear in federal court in Peoria on May 29.

The statement said 23-year-old Jenna Regal was also charged, but Regal was not jailed because she “is currently hospitalized for childbirth.”  Regal’s initial court appearance date was not yet set.
