MidAmerican Energy is asking for your help to name Peregrine falcon chicks hatched at two area nests.

They are accepting suggestions for male and female names until 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

They will determine the gender of the chick at the MidAmerican Energy Building in Davenport when they band it on Wednesday, May 29.  That is also the day that chick’s name will be chosen.  That chick hatched the weekend of May 4-5.

The chicks at the Louisa, Iowa Generating Station will be banded and named in early June.

You can suggest names on the MidAmerican Energy Facebook page – click here.

The person whose name suggestion is chosen for each falcon chick will receive a photo of the chick they helped name, plus a gift bag from MidAmerican Energy.
