Police said about 20 camping trailers were among property damaged in a burglary at the Hook and Bullet Conservation Club in Victoria, Illinois.
The burglaries were discovered Monday, may 13, 2013 when officials at the club, at 2175 Knox Highway 28, reported a burglary to their maintenance shed.
While deputies were there, they learned approximately 20 privately-owned camping trailers were also damaged or burglarized. They were in the process of notifying the owners of the trailers about the break-ins.
Police said the burglaries probably happened during the evening or overnight hours Sunday, May 12.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Knox County Sheriff’s Department Investigations Division or the Galesburg Area Crime Stoppers tip line. Crime Stoppers tips are eligilbe for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
