Three were arrested in connection with a string of East Moline burglaries.

According to the East Moline Police Department, two men, 19-year-old Jesse Hurtado and 18-year-old Nathaniel Stiner were arrested and are in custody at the Rock Island County Jail.

Police say Hurtado and Stiner both face two counts of residential burglary and one count of burglary to a motor vehicle. Stiner also is facing a charge of burglary to school property.

The third arrest was a 16-year-old who is being held at the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center.

The arrests stem from an investigation of one burglarized residence on 4th Street, one on 35th Ave., a car that was broken into on 41st Ave., and a building at United Township High School.

Police say the majority of stolen property has been recovered.
