Original story published 9:43 a.m. Traffic was backed up on I-74 Illinois bound in Bettendorf.
Cars were backed up to Spruce Hills Drive before 9:30 a.m. The Iowa Department of Transportation cameras showed one lane of traffic allowing cars through slowly.
Traffic was stopped in both directions before 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 22.
The cause of the traffic back-ups has not been confirmed.
