Webster County Police are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted on Monday.

Webster County Police are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Kathlynn Shepard was reported missing late in the afternoon on Monday, May 20, 2013.

According to police, Kathlynn and another juvenile accepted a ride from a stranger and were abducted. Police believe they have located the alleged abductor, but Kathlynn is still missing.

WHO reported that the girls were taken from their bus stop near Dayton around 4 p.m. One of the girls escaped and ran to a nearby farm house, telling the homeowner she and been kidnapped and taken to a hog farm. She was barefoot and covered in cuts, according to the report.

Kathlynn has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs 160-pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a Minnesota Vikings hat, reported WHO.
