For those looking for a car, or trying to sell their car, the Bettendorf Parks Foundation held an event to make the process a little easier.
The “For Sale By Owner” event was a weekend-long event on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19 at Faye’s Field parking lot in Bettendorf.
Owners of cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, boats and other vehicles came to sell at this community-wide sale. Those looking to buy were able to view multiple vehicles at one time and location. Any transactions that occurred were 100-percent private between the buyer and seller.
The event acted as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Bettendorf Parks Foundation. Proceeds were used to provide funding for educational and recreation programs and special projects sponsored by the foundation.
