Rowing-hopefuls had a chance to check out what it takes to be a rower at the YMCA.
The Two Rivers YMCA held an open house on Saturday, May 18 at the Sylvan Brothers Boat House in Moline.
Prospective rowers received an introduction to rowing as they were given a rowing lesson. For some real-world experience, they ended up on the Mississippi River.
