Assumption girls won the IHSAA Class 3A Track & Field State Championship.

On day three of the meet, Saturday, May 18, Rose Ripslinger took first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.60.

The Lady Knights took first in the 400-meter relay, running a 49.38. Their 800-meter sprint medley team took second. On Friday, May 17, the Lady Knights 800-meter relay team took first with a time of 1:43.96.

200-meter runners, Maddie Irmen and Emma Bassier took second and third, respectively on Saturday.

Pleasant Valley took second in the Class 4A State Championship with the help of their 1600-meter relay team winning first place with a time of 3:53.48.

Pleasant Valley hurdler, Anne Leners took first in the 400-meter hurdles on Friday.
