At least six people were killed and several reported missing after tornadoes struck near Fort Worth, Texas.

News 8 storm chasers were on hand when the storms spawned twisters that struck at least two communities Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

The six people killed lived in a neighborhood that was mostly made up of Habitat for Humanity-built homes.  The subdivision, called Rancho Brazos, was in Granbury which is southwest of Fort Worth.  That is also where the missing people were reportedly last seen.

The National Weather Service said at least 10 tornadoes touched down in that area.
