A run at Bettendorf Middle School was held to “run that last mile for those who couldn’t” because of the Boston marathon bombing attack.

A teacher advisory class at the school organized the one-mile run/walk on Wednesday, May 15 as a way to honor the victims, families, and others impacted.

Roughly 300 students were involved in the event. All of them wore a sign pinned to their shirts that said “I Run for Boston.”
