Dress light today! Plenty of sunshine combined with a strong southwest wind will allow temperatures to soar to its warmest so far this year. Highs in the upper 80s to perhaps 90 degrees will be felt later this afternoon. Winds will be clocked between 15 to 30 mph.
A frontal boundary arrives on Wednesday bringing only an isolated chance for a shower or thunderstorm. That may be pushing it as warm air aloft has created a solid ‘cap’ in the atmosphere which is not conducive to towering thunderstorms. This same boundary will position itself to our south that night before regressing northward bringing a slightly better chance for scattered t-storms later Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures may not be as warm as today but will remain way above normal with afternoon highs 80 or better for the rest of the week including the weekend.
