Davenport Schools introduce online registration
New for the 2013-2014 school year, Davenport Community Schools students can register for school online.
Parents must register for a Parent Portal account on the district’s website to register returning students online. The portal allows parents to also access attendance reports, messages and other school information throughout the school year.
District officials say they made online registration available after reviewing input from recent focus groups as well as results of a recent parent satisfaction survey.
New students will still be allowed to complete most of the registration process online, but they will be required to complete some paperwork and provide proof of residence in person.
