Hundreds of students from one local school took time out to make their school and community a better place.
Students, staff and parish priests took part in the 9th Annual Seton Walk-A-Thon to raise money for curriculum and programs at Seton Catholic School.
First through eighth graders walked three miles, from the school to Prospect Park and back again. Pre-K and kindergarten students walked a shorter route.
Students raised pledge support in advance of the Walk-A-Thon.
“The entire Seton Catholic School family enjoys this fundraiser so much. It focuses on physical fitness and the importance of keeping our bodies healthy,” said Seton principal Jane Barrett.
