A Silvis man plead guilty Friday morning to concealment of a homicidal death, for helping to dump the body of a man found shot to death near a Rock Island baseball field in April.

Terry Engels, 51, was initially charged with murder in the death of Lee Jump, 43, of East Moline. However, murder charges against Engels and Shane Howard, 39, of Rock Island were dismissed six days later.

A third man, Gene Whitney of Silvis, is still charged with murder.

Engels will be sentenced in September.
