Clinton High School girls won the 2013 Mississippi Athletic Conference Tennis tournament at North Scott on Monday and Tuesday, May 6 and 7.
The team finished the tournament with 19.5-points. Bettendorf was second with a total of 17-points closely followed by Assumption with16.5-points.
Griffin Rasche is the first team all-conference singles. Rasche and Rubina Vidal are first team all-conference doubles. Vidal is also second team all-conference singles. The second team all-conference doubles is comprised of Jordan Nelson and Gabby Haan. Nelson, Haan and Samantha Brisch are Third team all-conference singles. Brisch is also in the doubles third team all-conference with Shannon Shovlain. Honorable mention went to Avan Colah Jenna Cullen.
According to the Clinton Community School District, the River Queens have been one or two in the MAC for the last 30 years.
