A grocery store chain with a store in Bettendorf is facing a lawsuit after experiencing a security breach.
A St. Louis area attorney filed a class-action lawsuit against Schnucks Grocery at the end of April 2013. The company announced in March 2013 that up to 2.4 million credit and debit card numbers were stolen.
According to the Belleville News-Democrat, the attorney is questioning why the breach wasn’t made public sooner.
