A boil order has been issued for some Illinois Residents.
According to the Silvis Heights Water Corporation, residents west of 19th Street in East Moline between 26th Ave. and 29th Ave. should boil their water for consumption or cooking purposes.
A spokesperson said that a construction crew hit a water main on Thursday, May 2, 2013 causing the boil order.
The boil order is in effect until further notice.
