Police said they arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly selling a gun to the woman accused of shooting a man in an Alpha, Illinois apartment.
Robin Atchison, 29, was previously charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and reckless use of a firearm. Police said Atchison shot her 21-year-old husband, Trevor, in the head Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Trevor Atchison was hospitalized in critical condition.
Robin Atchison was held in the Henry County Jail in lieu of a half-million-dollar bond.
The day after the shooting, police said they arrested 23-year-old Clint David Cole of Woodhull. Cole was charged with one count of felony unlawful sale of a firearm to a felon. Police think Cole sold a .22 caliber rifle to Robin Atchison, and that she used that weapon to shoot her husband.
