The Davenport Fire Department joined forces with the USO to help local military families. The organization kicked off their first annual bottled water donations drive on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Davenport. The water will be used during USO events around the Quad Cities.

Davenport’s fire chief says their decision to help out was a no brainer, "When it comes to the military we are absolutely behind them as are the entire city of Davenport and so it was no question that we would step up and participate in what the USO needs us to do,” says Chief, Lynn Washburn-Livingston.

If you would like to donate, you can drop off individual bottles of water at any Davenport fire stations throughout the month of May.
