A beloved Morrison, Illinois elementary teacher fighting ovarian cancer passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Students, parents and co-workers rallied to support Pam Bush, physical education teacher at Northside Elementary in Morrison.
Her son, Brad, started a Facebook community page to help share thoughts and prayers with his mom.
Mrs. Bush battled ovarian cancer for more than two years.
Mrs. Bush’s obituary and funeral arrangements were posted on that page the day after she passed.
Friends and family planned to gather Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church Fellowship Hall in Morrison between 4 and 7 p.m. A memorial mass was planned for Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at the church.
A memorial fund was established in lieu of flowers.
