Students in the Quad Cities displayed their knowledge to the public.
The Davenport Community School District and the Public Works Department put on a Showcase of Learning on Saturday, April 27 at the Public Works Center.
For the event, students researched concerns and problems with wind energy and water quality and presented their solutions.
“It's going to stay with you a lot more than somebody handing you a sheet and saying 'okay here's the facts, believe it,’” said Public Works Program Coordinator, Robbin Dunn. “So again it's just a good engaging way for students to show what they've learned and just the whole learning process itself.”
Along with looking at the student’s exhibits, people were able to take a tour of the Davenport Public Works facility.
