NFL draft begins, history made

The first round of the NFL Draft began Thursday, April 25, 2013 as the first Mid-American Conference player received the No. 1 pick.

The first round of the NFL Draft began Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Making history, Eric Fisher from Central Michigan University became the first player from the Mid-American Conference to receive the No. 1 pick. Fisher was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs.

With the twentieth pick in the first round the Chicago Bears drafted offensive lineman, Kyle Long from the University of Oregon.

The Bears will still pick in four more of the seven rounds.

  • 50th pick in the 2nd round
  • 11th pick in the 4th round
  • 153rd pick in the 5th round
  • 188th pick in the 6th round
