Three people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle ran into a restaurant in Geneseo.
According to the Geneseo Police Department, a car driven by a 79-year-old-woman struck the Los Ranchitos Mexican restaurant on S. Oakwood Ave.
Two people inside the restaurant and the driver were taken to Genesis Illini Campus by Geneseo Ambulance and Genesis Ambulance, according to the report.
An investigation is being held by the Geneseo Police department to determine the cause of the accident. The restaurant was being boarded up Sunday evening and will be inspected for structural issues.
Police say no life threatening injuries were reported.
