Police have settled domestic situation in Rock Island

Update: Police have confirmed there are no explosives and the person was taken into custody. The situation was resolved without incident.

Police are on the scene Sunday evening on April 21, 2013 at a home near 44th Street and 18th Ave in Rock Island, Illinois.

The Chief of Police in Rock Island said negotiators are there speaking with who claims he has propane-type bombs.

According to the police, a domestic situation happened earlier and an individual left the scene.

Roads near 41st Street and 18th Ave. has been barricaded and residents are being pushed back.
