Quad Citians raced to honor victims of Boston Marathon bombings

Quad City area residents ran, walked, and biked to honor and remember all those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

According to a Live Uncommon spokesperson, entry fees were waived for participants in the race series events on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

The group invited anyone and everyone to “Run undaunted” and join the activities in “protest of evil deeds by evil doers.”

Saturday’s events included the Run for Renewal 5k in Davenport which benefitted Project Renewal. Also was the Autism Awareness 5k, Casual LU Bike and LU CrossFit in Bettendorf.
