The Great River Trail bike path closed Thursday between Crescent Bridge and the Moline city limits.

Fifth Avenue was also closed at the viaduct between 19th and 41st streets.

Temporary flood panels were installed at Schwiebert Riverfront Park on Thursday to help protect the park from flooding from water at the north end on the urban beach and waterfront promenade.  Areas south of the flood panels were expected to remain open.
