Firefighters got two cars out of a burning garage just before the building’s roof collapsed.
Firefighters were sent to a reported fire in the 3500 block of 16th Avenue just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. They arrived to find fire coming from the roof of a detached garage there.
Firefighters pulled two cars from the garage and shortly thereafter, the building’s roof collapsed.
Damage to the garage was estimated at $25,000 to the building plus $7,500 to the contents.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
