President orders flags at half-staff to honor Boston victims

President Barack Obama issued a proclamation ordering U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday, April 20, 2013.

President Barack Obama issued a proclamation ordering U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday, April 20, 2013.

The proclamation was made “as a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence” at the Boston Marathon.

The order includes all U.S. flags flown at government, public and military facilities as well as all U.S. embassies and facilities abroad.
