Davenport Communications Director Jennifer Nahra said their public works crews were also monitoring Credit Island, Credit Island Lodge and the causeway.

South Concord Street was closed to traffic from River Drive to Utah Avenue, with access available to businesses in that area from Utah Avenue.

Most of Rock Island is protected by a flood wall, so minimal flood preparations were underway as of Tuesday afternoon, April 16.  Hoses connected to pumps will run across some parts of the Great River Trail bike path, so cyclists are urged to use caution and walk their bikes across those hoses.

Sunset Marina was preparing dock ramp extensions and temporary walkways for the 100 and 200 docks.  The river was expected to reach 15.7 feet there by April 21, and if the water reaches 16 feet they will close the lower parking area at Sunset Marina.
