Fourth graders from Jordan Catholic School used their Lenten service project to collect food for a local pantry.

“The Jordan students prayed each day for all children in our community who go to bed hungry,” said Jordan Catholic School spokesperson Janine Parr.

The students intended the food they collected to serve as a healthy snack for children.

They donated the food to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry.
