Updated April 16, 2013:
(CNN) — Following Monday’s widespread speculation that Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, have split up, the rocker opened up on Facebook about his marriage – as well as his sobriety.
“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs,” the 64-year-old rocker began. “I was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.”
On Monday, TMZ cited “multiple sources” who said that he and Sharon had broken up, at least temporarily, and were also living separately. That night, Ozzy didn’t clarify what their living arrangements are, or if they’d separated, but he did confirm TMZ’s report that they’re not headed for a divorce.
“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing,” Ozzy said. “I’m just trying to be a better person.”
To go with that, Ozzy offered an apology to Sharon, ” my family, my friends and my bandmates for my insane behavior during this period,” he said. “And my fans.”

(CNN) — Say it ain’t so!
Multiple sources are telling TMZ that Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have split. Initial chatter suggested the pair have been living separately thanks to renovations on their home, but TMZ now says it appears that the couple’s taking time apart.
Sharon Osbourne is not just Ozzy’s wife of 31 years, but also his manager. While there was speculation that money problems might be causing a rift in their relationship, the couple’s son, Jack, recently took to his Twitter account to say it was ” all bulls***.”
