Carter’s clothing has recalled nearly a quarter-million one-piece, footed cotton baby garments sold at Wal-Mart and Target nationwide.
The recalled sleepwear was also sold online at oshkoshbgosh.com.
The recall involves certain styles one-piece garments in sizes from newborn to 9 months. Brands included in the recall are Baby B’gosh, Child of Mine made by Carter’s and Just One You made by Carter’s. Brand names are printed on the fabric inside the neck area.
All of the recalled sleepers have a foot-to-neck zipper. The zipper pull can become detached, causing a choking hazard. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says no incidents or injures had been reported.
About 218,000 garments are included in the recall. If you have an item included in the recall, the CPSC says you should return it to Carter’s for a full refund. Baby B’gosh style number 414-208, a yellow garment printed with white quarter moons and gray and white stars.
Child of Mine style number 715-839, a baseball-style garment that is white with blue stripes and yellow accents, with the words “Little Brother” printed on the chest.

520-242, a white garment with navy stripes and green neck binding, sold as a two-pack with style number 597B537, a light blue garment printed with a nautical theme an green crabs with the words “Captain Cutie” on the left side of the chest.
520-243, a white garment with pink cupcake print, sold as a two-pack with style number 597B538, a pink garment with small polka dots and a bunny ballerina on the left chest.
520-244, a white garment with green stripes and an elephant and duck on the left chest. Sold as a two-pack with style number 597B539, a white garment printed with gray elephants, gray bears, green frogs and yellow ducks.
