Police chase and catch suspects in Davenport business robbery

Police have taken two people into custody after a robbery was reported in Davenport.

According to the Davenport Police Department, around 1:15 p.m. police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a robbery on Thursday, April 11.

Police say Crescent Cleaners on N. Harrison Street in Davenport was robbed and a vehicle was taken from the business as well. Two people were seen fleeing from the stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of E. 39th Street. Police chased the two on foot and both were arrested.

Detectives are investigating the incident.

There were no injuries.
