In an effort to best utilize technology, educators attended a conference to learn how to best take advantage of available technologies.

The first Technology Integration Conference was held in the Bettendorf School District for teachers and administrators.

A guest speaker, Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning, George Couros showed spoke before the group split into different sessions.

Teachers received training with iPads, social media accounts like Twitter and were shown how to lead classrooms in an increasingly digital world.

"Kids are growing in a technological age right now and so it's very important for teachers to understand the world our students are growing up in," said Bettendorf Tech. Coordinator, Jennifer Like.
