Murder charges have been dropped for two men in the death of Lee Jump from East Moline.
Rock Island prosecutors dismissed murder charges against Shane Howard and Terry Engels. Both men now face a lesser charge of concealing a homicide and are expected to testify against the third suspect- Gene Whitney.
The body of Jump was found last month after he was shot in the head.
Whitney’s bond is set at $1 million. The bond for the other two men has been cut down to $50,000 each.
