A man was arrested after trying to sell drugs to an undercover cop.

According to the Dixon Police Department, 30-year-old Diego Juarez from Sterling, Illinois attempted to sell Oxycodone to a Dixon Police officer.

Police say Juarez was arrested on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 on West 5th Street in Sterling. He has been charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a Church and Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The church was less than 100 feet away.

The Oxycodone has a street value of about $100, police say.

Juarez was taken to the Lee County Jail.

Police are expecting to make more arrests in the case.
